Privacy Policy for Pixel Display Tester
Privacy Policy for Pixel Display Tester
About this policy
Pixel Display Tester is provided by Aktyva konsaltynh technologies. This policy explains how the app handles information when you inspect your display, test touch response, save test sequences, and record observations.
Privacy contact: mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com
Information accessed and stored
The app processes the following information locally on your device:
• Observations you save, including their titles, text, save dates and times, and any associated test or session names. Notes may contain personal information if you choose to enter it.
• Saved test sequences, including session names and ordered test steps.
• Preferences you save, including default app brightness and whether tests start with controls hidden.
• Device-reported screen information, including display resolution, app viewport size, current refresh rate, available display modes, and device manufacturer and model. This information is displayed locally and is not saved as a device profile by the app.
• Touch events within the inspection canvas, including contact positions, temporary contact identifiers and labels, drawn trails, current contact count, and the highest contact count observed during the test. These are processed in memory and are not automatically saved as test recordings. You can separately write and save your own observations.
The app does not require an account. Its current implementation does not transmit your notes, sequences, preferences, touch activity, or device information to the developer.
How information is used
The app uses this information to display screen readings, draw touch trails and contact markers, run your chosen test sequences, restore saved preferences, and let you review and edit observations. Saved dates and times help organize notes.
Brightness controls adjust the app window’s brightness. Display and touch inspection is manual; the app does not automatically diagnose defects or repair pixels.
Local storage and backups
On Android, saved notes, sequences, and preferences are stored in the app’s private local preferences. There is no app-operated cloud synchronization or remote storage service in the inspected implementation.
Android backup is enabled in the app configuration. Depending on your device, operating system, and backup settings, Android may include app data in system backups or device transfers. Those copies are handled by your system’s backup service under its own settings and policies, rather than by an app-operated server.
If you use the browser preview, saved notes, sequences, and preferences are stored in that browser’s local storage. They remain there until removed through the app’s available deletion controls or by clearing the preview’s browser site data.
Sharing, advertising, and third-party software
The current app does not sell information or implement developer-directed sharing of app data with third parties. No advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote crash-reporting SDK is present in the inspected source and declared dependencies.
The app uses Android and Kotlin/Compose software libraries to provide its interface and local functionality. These integrations do not implement transmission of the information described above to the developer. System backups are subject to the separate handling described in this policy.
The Android app declares Internet permission, but the current app functionality does not implement remote data collection or transmission. Having this permission does not itself mean information is uploaded.
Security
The Android app uses app-private storage, relying on Android’s application isolation and your device’s security protections. The app does not add its own encryption layer for saved notes, sequences, or preferences. Browser preview storage relies on the browser’s protections.
Because the app does not implement transmission of your app data, there is no app-managed transmission encryption process to describe. System backup protections depend on your backup provider. No storage or security method can guarantee complete protection.
Retention and deletion
Saved notes, test sequences, and preferences remain in local storage until you delete them or clear the app’s data. The app does not implement automatic expiration of saved information.
You can delete individual observations from Notes and saved sequences from the saved sessions list. You can clear touch trails and reset the observed contact count using Clear canvas. Touch test state and unsaved drafts are temporary and are not written to persistent storage.
To remove all locally saved Android app data, use Android’s app storage settings to clear the app’s storage. Uninstalling normally removes the installed app’s local data, but system backups may remain or restore data later. Manage backup copies through your device or backup provider’s controls. For the browser preview, clear the preview’s site data to remove all locally stored information.
For deletion questions or requests, contact mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com. The developer cannot remotely retrieve or erase information stored only on your device. There is no in-app remote deletion request feature.
Children’s privacy
The app’s intended age groups have not been specified. Its current implementation does not require accounts or transmit users’ app data to the developer, including when used by children. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into observation notes. Parents or guardians with privacy questions may use the contact below.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the app or its information practices. Review the latest version when using an updated app.
